AlphaESS Receives a 40 million RMB Capital Injection

Alpha ESS Co., Ltd., ("AlphaESS") one of the international high-tech companies focusing on providing advanced energy storage products and smart energy management services, today announced that it has signed strategic investment agreement with Eve Energy, China Aviation Industrial Fund (CAIF) and Minmetals International Trust raising 40 million Chinese RMB (6.2 million USD) in capital.
The successful completion of capital raised, enables AlphaESS to leverage resources to enhance competitive edge in both upstream and downstream industrial chain and explore the global expansion strategy further. Meanwhile, it also demonstrates the confidence and vision in green energy storage from stakeholders at large.
AlphaESS, founded in 2012, has spread its business throughout China, Europe, Australia and many other countries in the world. With years of experience in green energy and lithium battery industries, the AlphaESS team has been dedicated to providing users with smart energy storage solutions by setting up subsidiaries in Germany and Australia, and continually exploring sales channels.
Since the launch and batch production of household Li-ion battery storage system in 2014, AlphaESS was awarded as top 10 at ees Award Ceremony at Intersolar Europe 2015 in Munich, and nominated as the only Chinese company competing at the same level with the likes of tech giants Samsung.
With this funding, AlphaESS will continue development and market expansion by launching the new products of Storion-T5, used for three phase homes, and Storion-ECO, aimed at small and medium sized residential customers.
