AlphaESS is delighted to announce its partnership with Discover Energy. AlphaESS  allows full interface integration between AlphaESS hybrid inverters and Discover Energy's virtual power plant (VPP) as well as energy trading platform. This means that customers with AlphaESS hybrid batteries��who are already enjoying savings through solar feed-in-tariffs and decreased reliance on the traditional electricity grid��can earn extra income through energy trading and the selling of excess energy, thereby increasing the influx of renewable energy into the Australian energy market.

Put simply, the virtual platform established by AlphaESS and Discover Energy allows all Australian customers with AlphaESS inverter (if you have a AlphaESS system installed, the inverter is already included) to sell excess energy directly to other people. Therefore, you can earn profits from solar feed-in tariff, P2P trading in VPP platform enjoying an extra saving on electricity bill.

The objective of a Virtual Power Plant is to relieve the power flow load of the grid by smartly distributing the power generated by the distributed energy resources during periods of peak load.
